Terms of Service

Last updated 17 October 2026

Summary

Use Bloxbook, don't be a jerk, and don't post illegal stuff. You own what you post, but you let us show it on the platform. You must be 13 or older, and only adults can see 18+ content. Paid plans (billed through PayPal) add a checkmark plus Business tools and renew monthly until you cancel. We use AI and humans to keep things safe — and if we get it wrong, you can appeal.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bloxbook, a social platform available at bloxbook.lol. By creating an account or otherwise using Bloxbook, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Bloxbook.

1. Who we are

Bloxbook (“Bloxbook”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent community platform for Roblox players and creators. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or Google LLC. “Roblox”, “Discord”, and “Google” are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bloxbook, and old enough to form a binding contract in your country of residence. When you sign up we ask for your date of birth to confirm this. You must enter your real date of birth; if you are under 13 you may not create an account, and we will close any account we learn belongs to someone under 13. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Content flagged 18+ is only available to users whose date of birth shows they are 18 or older. Bloxbook does not otherwise split users into age groups or limit who can message whom by age.

You agree to provide accurate registration information (including a username of at least three characters) and to keep it current. One person or organization may not operate accounts to evade enforcement actions.

Signing in with Discord, Roblox, or Google: you can create an account or sign in with an account you have on one of these services, and link one account from each service in Settings. A service account can be linked to only one Bloxbook account. Anyone who can sign in to a linked account can sign in to your Bloxbook account, so keep those accounts secure too. You can unlink them at any time, but you must keep at least one way to sign in (a password or a linked account). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability: if a service is unavailable or your account there is closed, use your password or another linked account (or contact us).

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law (see “Enforcement and account standing” below).

3. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of the posts, comments, images, videos, messages, job listings, advertisements, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Bloxbook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and delivery), display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, securing, and improving Bloxbook.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it and that it does not violate these Terms or the law.

Mentions and hashtags: you can tag people with their @username where their settings allow it. A tag links to their profile and notifies them. If their settings don't allow it, the @username is shown as plain text and they aren't notified. Hashtags you use make your post appear on that hashtag's page and can count towards trending hashtags (public posts only).

4. Media uploads

Bloxbook lets you upload images and videos for profiles, posts, direct messages, and advertisements, subject to format and size limits. You must have the rights to any media you upload. We may transcode, resize, or refuse media, and we may remove media that violates these Terms.

Uploaded media may be stored by us or our infrastructure providers and, for the purpose of automated safety checks, associated text may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of Bloxbook is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, threats, spam, fraud, intellectual-property infringement, and attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

6. Direct messages

Direct messages are private between you and the person you message, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. You can delete a message you sent, which removes it for everyone in the conversation. Deleting a message does not undo a report already made about it: if someone reported it first, we keep a copy of what it said so the report can be reviewed.

If you receive a message that breaks our rules, you can report it. When you do, the reported message and a few messages before it in that conversation are shared with our moderators and our automated review (see below) so they can understand the context. Messages that are not reported are not reviewed.

7. Automated content moderation and AI

We use Grok (an AI model from xAI) to help catch bad content automatically, so the community stays safe without a human having to eyeball everything. It looks at posts and replies when you submit them, and at anything that is reported — posts, replies, direct messages (the reported message and a few before it), and accounts (profile details, profile images, and recent posts). It can also look at images that go with reported content.

Depending on what it finds, the system might act on its own — labelling something 18+, hiding or removing it, stopping it from posting, or permanently banning an account when the content is clearly illegal. When it is less certain, it leaves the report for a person to decide. A report is a claim, not proof: reporting something does not by itself cause it to be removed.

It's not perfect, and it will occasionally get things wrong. If an automated decision affects you and you think it's a mistake, email support@bloxbook.lol and a person will take a proper look. We explain the details, and your rights around this, in our Privacy Policy.

8. Enforcement and account standing

We may remove content and apply account measures ranging from warnings to temporary suspension (for a set period), banning, or permanent banning. Suspended or banned accounts may lose access to some or all features for the duration of the measure.

Serious violations — including illegal content — may result in immediate permanent bans and may be reported to law enforcement. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal to support@bloxbook.lol.

9. Subscriptions and verification

Bloxbook offers paid subscription plans — Bloxbook Personal (€5/month) and Bloxbook Business (€20/month) — that add a verified checkmark and additional features. Payments are processed by PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time on the Verification page or in your PayPal account. Current pricing and features are shown on the Pricing page and governed by our Refund Policy.

A verification badge indicates an active subscription (or, for team members, verification granted by a Business account) and does not certify identity unless separately stated. We may remove a badge if a subscription lapses, if team verification is revoked, or if the account violates these Terms.

A newly purchased checkmark (including a new gold checkmark when upgrading to Business, and a checkmark from a team seat) is reviewed before it is shown. It appears after a short review window or sooner if our team approves it. The plan's other features are available immediately. We may refuse or remove a checkmark during or after review, for example for impersonation.

10. Business features

Business accounts may access additional features: team verification, an Ads Centre, and job listings.

Team verification: a Business account may grant verified team members a blue checkmark for €5 per member per month. Each seat is its own monthly PayPal subscription that starts when you add the member and approve it in PayPal. Removing a member cancels that seat's subscription and ends the seat immediately. A seat also ends if its payment fails or its subscription is cancelled in PayPal, and every seat ends if the Business subscription ends. The Business account is responsible for the members it verifies and must have authority to associate them.

Ads Centre: active Business accounts receive advertising credit (currently €10 per month) that can be used to run sponsored posts. Monthly credit resets each month and does not carry over. Business accounts can also buy additional credit with a one-time PayPal payment. Purchased credit is spent after the monthly credit, does not expire, and can only be used while the Business subscription is active (ads pause otherwise and resume if it is reactivated). Advertising credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash. Advertisers are responsible for their ad content, which is subject to these Terms and moderation.

Job listings: Business accounts may publish job listings. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any listing and any hiring process; Bloxbook is not an employer and is not a party to arrangements between advertisers and applicants.

11. Payments and taxes

Prices are stated in euros (EUR) and may include or exclude taxes depending on your location, as shown by PayPal at checkout. You authorize PayPal to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You are responsible for any currency-conversion or other fees your payment method or PayPal applies. If a payment fails, we may retry, downgrade, or suspend paid features.

Discount codes: we may offer codes that reduce the price of a plan, a team seat, or ad credit. A code is entered before checkout and can be used once per account. On a subscription it applies for the number of billing periods stated with the code (or every period, if so stated), after which the regular price applies. Codes apply to new subscriptions, not to switching plans; they have no cash value, cannot be combined, and may expire or be withdrawn.

12. Third-party services and links

Bloxbook integrates third-party services (including PayPal for payments, xAI for content analysis, KLIPY for GIFs, and Discord, Roblox, and Google for optional sign-in) and may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Intellectual property

Bloxbook, the Bloxbook name, and the Bloxbook logo are the property of Bloxbook. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks without prior written permission.

14. Termination

You may stop using Bloxbook at any time and may delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, licences you granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

15. Disclaimers and liability

Bloxbook is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including that moderation will catch all harmful content or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloxbook is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Bloxbook's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
