Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
Summary
Be decent, keep it legal, don't spam or impersonate people, and never post anything that endangers kids. Break the rules and we'll remove the content or take action on your account — AI and real people both keep watch. Think we got it wrong? Appeal it.
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and isn't allowed on Bloxbook. It applies to everyone who uses the platform — including posts, comments, direct messages, job listings, and advertisements — and supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Be respectful
Treat other players and creators with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, and hate speech targeting people based on protected characteristics (such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability) are not allowed.
2. Protect minors and keep it safe
Bloxbook has a young audience (you must be 13 or older to join). Content that sexualizes or endangers minors is strictly forbidden and will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities. This includes asking a minor for photos or personal details, trying to move a minor to another app, or any sexual or grooming behaviour toward them, in public posts or in direct messages.
Do not post content that promotes self-harm or suicide, or that depicts gratuitous or graphic violence.
3. Mature (18+) content
Legal adult or otherwise sensitive content (such as strong sexual themes or graphic material) must not target minors and may be labelled as 18+ and hidden behind a content warning. Content flagged 18+ is only shown to users whose date of birth shows they are 18 or older and who have opted in. Giving a false date of birth to get around this is a violation. Attempting to evade 18+ labelling is also a violation.
4. No illegal activity
Do not use Bloxbook to facilitate illegal activity, including fraud, doxxing, the sale or solicitation of illegal drugs or weapons, or extremist or terrorist content. Illegal content may result in immediate permanent bans and referral to law enforcement.
5. Direct messages
The same rules apply in direct messages. You can delete messages you sent, and you can report a message you received (Message options → Report message). The reported message and a few before it are shared with moderators and our automated review. Abusing the report button — for example, filing false or repeated reports to harass someone — is itself a violation.
6. No spam or manipulation
Do not send bulk unsolicited messages, run engagement or follow schemes, use bots to inflate metrics, or operate deceptive or impersonating accounts.
Do not mass-tag people, use @mentions to pester or harass someone, or stuff posts with unrelated or trending #hashtags to get attention. Respect people's choice of who can mention them, and don't try to get around it.
Verification badges — including team verification granted by Business accounts — must not be used to mislead others about who you are.
7. Respect intellectual property
Only post content you have the right to share. Do not upload material that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights. We respond to valid takedown requests.
8. Advertising and job listings
Advertisements and job listings must be truthful and lawful, must not promote prohibited goods or scams, and must comply with this policy. Job listings must describe genuine opportunities; Bloxbook is not the employer and is not responsible for arrangements between advertisers and applicants.
9. Protect the platform
Do not attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, distribute malware, scrape at scale, or interfere with the normal operation of Bloxbook.
10. Automated and human enforcement
We enforce this with a mix of automated tools (including Grok from xAI) and actual people. Posts and replies get scanned when you post them, and anything — a post, reply, direct message, or account — can be reviewed when someone reports it. Content can be labelled 18+, removed, or blocked automatically, and accounts behind clearly illegal content can be banned automatically. When the review is less certain, a person decides.
Depending on what happened, that might mean removing a post, limiting features, a temporary suspension, or a full ban. And yes — automated systems make mistakes sometimes.
Appeals: think we got it wrong? Email support@bloxbook.lol and a human will review it. We try to be quick and fair.
